One more day before we leave!!  Allie and I are missing home especially since it is so short a time before we will begin the trip back to the states.  Lori says we will not be making such a long trip anymore and I agree six weeks is plenty long to be away from the family.  Having Allie around is helpful but we all do best when we’re together.
We had breakfast consisting of Arrow Root and Mandazi’s made by Allie with Joyce’s oversight.  It was all good and the arrow root tasted a lot like taro to me but a bit sweeter.  After breakfast I took Samwell and Allie to the last day of CBS at the Greenhouse Church.  After letting them off I went to Nakumat to get a couple things one of which was to round up something to cover the van while we are away.  I found a car cover and purchased it along with some twine and some boxes (which cost 10 shillings each, nothing is free here).  I returned to Dr. Simons house and began the task of packing everything for the flight home.  I had to break down the sewing table a bit further to get the weights right but managed to get it all packed with a lot of help from Allie.  After getting things packed I copied my self reliance file for Dr. Simon to have as a resource for some projects he is wanting to do.  He has been talking about doing some poultry production as well as the aquaculture.  I then repaired a trunk he had that was broken during  trip home from the states and made a toilet paper cover for the shower.  The showers here are inside the toilet stall so a cover is needed to keep from getting the paper wet unless you remove it.  I made one from a 2 liter soda bottle which hopefully will work fine.  Dr. Simon got held up and it took a while for him to get back home for us to work on the garage doors.  When he did get here we began working on the garage doors and got some brackets put up before it got dark.  I then got the battery disconnected on the van and installed the cover.  It was not made for the van but I was able to get it tied on.  After that it was get the blogs from the past two days posted and this one written.  I emailed Lori to see if she was in as he smell of beef cooking on the stove wafted through the house.  After dinner it was time to do any final packing, get a shower and get to bed.  It will be a long next couple days getting home but well worth the trip.
