Easy day in Mbita, August 16th, 2008 PDF Print E-mail
August 16th, 2008

Not a lot happened to day so this will be short.  The day was basically a day off so I lounged around here a while, took a nap and showed Martha and Yoko how to build the alcohol stove with the machine I built.  We tested the burner by making tea.  Allie and I watched Narnia on the computer and then returned the soda bottles from the party last night and delivered some seeds and plants to JP and Jesse.  After that we paid Erin for some bracelets and went to our property to take a video of the sunset there for Lori. As we were leaving Eric came to the road and told me his dad wanted to talk to me tomorrow.  He said it was good so we’ll see.  I’m sure it will be interesting.  We went back to the masonette where dinner was just getting finished up.  Yoko is Japanese and she is cooking tonight.  It was very good.  We had rice, greens with mushrooms, fresh sweet peppers and eggplant and fish with tomatoes and onions.  Quite tasty.  After that we all watched a movie before turning in for the night.
