Pond Construction

This shallow pond was constructed of dry stacked concrete blocks two high with a HDPE pond liner. It is tied into the aquaponics system and is used primarily to grow water plants for fish feed. A pine straw bog was added to adjust and buffer the pH to the correct value to promote good plant growth in the greenhouse.
