It is neither practical nor necessary to call a veterinarian for
every little thing that goes wrong with your animals. It is sometimes difficult
to decide when to ask a veterinarian for help. Call a veterinarian for unusual
cases, such as the following:
- Animal has not eaten for more than 24 hours.
Animal has a temperature of 41 degrees Centigrade or higher.
